What about if area did not got strong capital growth in last 20 years but yield high-and in 2022 recently strong demand for property and prices gone up a lot.should we ignore old 30 years history and invest in this area or not
@Muhammad Faizan As long as there are positive signs of redevelopment then I wouldn’t be too concerned with historical prices in the area.
@Estate Agent Insider Redevelopment mean govt investment or housing schemes or industries ?
At the moment I seen boo-hoo installed industrial unit there in burnley which encourage jobs
@Muhammad Faizan all of the above and also things like improving transport links will all have a positive impact.
@Estate Agent Insider yes burnley recently got transport link which is been improved burnley to Manchester.I might invest in commercial link here instead because commercial giving high yield
@Estate Agent Insider itโs nice to chat with you .are you also investor in property ? Have you done commercial or service accommodation? Can we talk or how can I get in touch with you at any day ?
As if buying your first home isn’t hard enough, young and hardworking first time buyers are up against rich ‘cash buyer’ property investors who are buying all the affordable starter homes.
They modernise these properties to such a high standard that they become unaffordable to first time buyers.
We need to stop this from happening. First time buyers should be given the upper hand and more of a chance.
The government need to put a cap on either how many properties one individual investor can own or make investors available to only buy properties over a certain amount of money depending on the value of homes in the local area.
I agree that the government should be doing more to help first time buyers. From what I understand this is even more of an issue in the US.
Hong Kong Buyers screwing it up, simple as that
